Neighbourhood is one of the more recent additions to Long Streets bustling social hub. Situated at 163 Long Street on the first floor, the restaurant, bar and lounge was opened in September 2007 with the intent of creating a comfortable environment that feels as though it could be a home away from home.

Taking from the British trend of upmarket pubs with high quality food, Neighbourhood has a full Menu that has something for everyone. The Table Snacks section includes Chilli Poppers, Chicken Wings (in three flavours), Nacho’s and more. There are also full meals and an array of waffle desserts. All make for a great culinary experience but great food is not all Neighbourhood has to offer.

The bar has a varied cocktail menu and happy hours run each day from 4pm (opening time) till 7pm, with 2 for 1 cocktail specials.The bar also boasts one of the largest beer selections available. There is a games room with a foosball and pool table, as well as LCD screens showing sporting events as well as a projector for all major fixtures.

Neighbourhood’s large balcony overlooking Long Street makes it a great social hangout and the comfortable couches and refined decor complete the experience. There is also a private room for hiring out which is great for all manners of functions.

Even with so much to choose from on Long Street, Neighbourhood manages to be a unique and inviting social spot. Whether it’s for a meal, a relaxed drink or a celebration, it’s all good in the hood.
